Sony has announced its new smartphones Xperia XZ2 and XZ2 Compact with better design, enhanced audio and improves camera. These phones come with high-end specs and will be rolled out globally starting from March 2018. Pricing details will be confirmed locally for the country.
Sony Xperia XZ2 comes with 5.7-inch 18:9 Triluminos HDR Display with 2160 x 1080 pixels resolution and Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. Xperia XZ2 is smaller and got 5-inch 18:9 Triluminos HDR Display with 2160 x 1080 pixels resolution, Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection.
Both phones have Octa-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 Soc with Adreno 630 GPU. The phone packs 4GB RAM. Both Xperia XZ and Xperia XZ Compact come have 64 GB of storage with option to expand storage up to 400 GB.
Both the phones have same camera setup. There is a 19 megapixels rear camera with Exmos RS sensor, f/2.0 aperture, Predictive capture, 5-axis stabilization, 4K video recording and 960fps slow-motion video recording. There is also a 5 megapixels front camera with 1/ 5″ Exmor RS sensor, 23mm super wide-angle and f/2.2 aperture.
Fingerprint sensor is located on the rear panel. USB Type-C audio, Stereo speaker with S-Force Front Surround, DSEE HX and LDAC have also been added. So, audio experience will be good. Both the phones are Water Resistant.
The phones offer 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 ac MIMO, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS/ GLONASS, NFC and USB 3.1 Type-C connectivity.
Sony Xperia XZ2 has 3180mAh Battery while the Sony Xperia XZ2 compact got 2870 mAh battery. Both the phones support Qnovo Adaptive Charging technology, Quick Charge 3.0, Qi Wireless charging.
