New Nokia 6 Android One smartphone with 5.5-inch Display, Snapdragon 630, ZEISS optics Announced

Today at MWC 2018, HMD Global introduced the new Nokia 6 Android One smartphone for global markets. Yes the company calls it “New Nokia 6.” This new Android One phone will be available starting April this year.

New Nokia 6 comes with 5.5-inch full HD (1080p) display with 2.5D Corning Gorilla Glass. It runs on stock Android 8.0 Oreo right out the box. It packs Qualcomm Snapdragon 630.

The phone will be available in two variants. One with 3GB LPDDR4 RAM and 32GB internal storage while the second model will come with 4GB RAM with 64GB internal storage. Both the models offers expandable storage of up to 128GB.

The phone has 16-megapixel dual-lens main camera with 1.4 micron pixels, an f/1.7 lens and Zeiss branding. It also has wide and telephoto lens configuration. The front side has 8-megapixel camera that can detect if you are in low-light environment and combines four pixels into one super-pixel to offer better photos. The phone also allows you to shoot video with the front and back cameras at the same time.

It also has a Fingerprint sensor located on the rear panel. Connectivity features of the phone include 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz + 5GHz), Bluetooth 5, GPS, NFC and USB Type-C.

It has 3000mAh battery with fast charging. It claims to charge up to 50% in 30 minutes and promises the standby time of up to 507 hours.

It comes in Black / Copper, White / Iron and Blue / Gold colors. Price starts at 249 Euros.
