Xiaomi’s beautiful bezel-less flagship phone MI Mix 2 was launched in India for Rs. 35999 in November last year. Now the phone is available at Rs 32,999 via offline retailers. It seems there is a price cut but there is no official announcement.

We cannot say if this is a permanent price cut or a price cut for a specific time period. Few reports claim that the discounted price is only until January 5.

Mi Mix 2 faces tough competition from OnePlus 5T and fails to grab attention. The phone comes with 5.99-inch (2160 x 1080) Super AMOLED 18:9 full-screen display. This is a true bezel-less phone that inspired other companies to follow the trend.

The phone is also powerful with 2.45 GHz octa-core Snapdragon 835 64-bit processor coupled with 6GB RAM. It has Adreno 540 GPU. You get 128 GB of storage as well. The phone has MIUI 9  based on Android 7.1 Nougat operating system It packs 3400 mAh battery with Quick Charge 3.0 technology.

The phone has 12 megapixels dual rear camera with dual-tone LED flash, Sony IMX386 sensor, 4-axis OIS, f/2.0 aperture, 5P lens, PDAF, and HDR. It also has 5 megapixels front camera supporting face recognition as well.

The only issue with the phone is that you cannot use it without a safety cover. The glass back attracts fingerprints and you need to clean it again and again.
