At CES 2018, Sony launched a new budget phone Sony Xperia L2. It is the success of Xperia L2 launched back in 2013.
Sony Xperia L2 comes with 5.5-inch HD display with Gorilla Glass protection. The phone runs on Android 7.1.1 Nougat. It is powered by a 1.5GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6737T processor with Mali-T720 GPU with 3 GB RAM. It has 32 GB of storage with an option to expand the storage up to 256GB.
The phone has 13 megapixels autofocus rear camera with LED flash, f/2.0 aperture, and 1/3.06″ sensor. It also has 8 megapixels front camera with 120° wide-angle f/2.4 aperture lens, 1/4″ image sensor.
It has a fingerprint sensor found on the rear panel. Connectivity features of the phone include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, NFC and USB Type-C. There will be a dual-SIM model depending on the market.
It packs 3300 mAh battery with Qnovo Adaptive Charging. Dimensions of the phone measure 150 x 78 x 9.8mm and it weighs 178g.
It will be available starting late January 2018. Pricing will be confirmed at the time of availability.
