Samsung has finally confirmed the launch date of upcoming flagship phone Galaxy S9 ( and Galaxy S9+ as well). Samsung’s upcoming flagship phones will make its debut at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona on February 2, 2018.

The company posted a teaser on Twitter that hints big changes in the camera. We already saw reports claiming the variable aperture camera in Galaxy S9. The rumours says that the 12 megapixels camera will be able to switch between f/1.5 and f/2.4 apertures.

Samsung is aiming big as this phone will have to compete with iPhone X that was the most popular smartphone in Q4 2017. We are expecting improved Bixbay, more compact design with narrow bezels and integrated AI processing.

Rumoured specs of Galaxy S9 are Quad HD+ resolution, 4 GB RAM, 64 GB storage, 8 MP front camera and wireless charging. The phone will also come with stereo speakers and earphones tuned by AKG. As always, Samsung Galaxy S9 will be Ip68 rated for water & dust resistance.

We still have a month before the launch. So, I am expecting more renders and leaks to reveal more information before the phone could become official. What are you expecting from Samsung Galaxy S9? Let us know your views in the comments section below.
