OnePlus confirms Face Unlock for OnePlus 3/3T

A few days back, OnePlus co-founder Carl Pei dropped hit about Face Unlock for OnePlus 3 and OnePlus 3T. He wanted OnePlus 3 and 3T users to request for the feature.

Now the Carl Pei officially confirmed that the Face Unlock will soon come to OnePlus 3 and OnePlus 3T in a beta version. He confirmed this in an interview with CNET at the 2018 Consumer Electronics Show.

He also talked about future OnePlus devices. He revealed that next OnePlus device will come in late Q2 2018. The company is also in talks with US carriers for future devices.

Face Unlock in OnePlus 5T received good reviews. So, the company pushed the feature to OnePlus 5 as well. Now they are also introducing this to older devices. Face Unlock is the faster way to unlock the phone. Users prefer it over a PIN, pattern, password, and fingerprint.
