After several leaks, finally, OnePlus has officially announced the sandstone white variant of OnePlus 5T. The company posted a video on the official OnePlus channel to show how beautiful the phone looks.

This variant is also only available in 8GB / 128 GB RAM / Storage and price is also the same as the midnight black OnePlus 5T. It will be available starting January 9 on OnePlus’ website for $559.

OnePlus 5T Sandstone is basically the OnePlus 5T Star Wars edition with the Star Wars branding.

OnePlus says that the process to apply the sandstone finish to the phone takes 75 minutes and involves painting and baking the phone’s shell numerous times. So the whole process makes this phone the most expensive phone OnePlus has ever made. But pricing was not changed.

To remind you, OnePlus 5T comes with 6.01-inch FullView display, Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor, 8 GB RAM, 128 GB storage, dual 16 and 20 megapixel rear camera, Android 7.1.1 and 3300 mAh battery with DashCharge.

OnePlus 5T is the most popular phone in its price segment and most of the people went for this in place of premium flagship phones. Now Honor View 10 has come to compete with this. It will be interesting to see the competition.
