OnePlus has now introduced the Lava Red edition of OnePlus 5T in India. It was launched in China back November, but the company kept the India launch on hold just for the promotional reason. If you look closely, the company launch things one by one to be in media reports all the time.

The Lava Red OnePlus 5T looks exactly the Red variant of Oppo R11S. The phone has a black bezel on the front and bright red finish on the back and sides. It also recently introduced Star Wars edition in India last month. Now it will soon bring Sandstone White Limited Edition but after few days for the same publicity reasons.

OnePlus says, “Inspired by the dynamic nature of lava with colors that change under different types of light, the radiant Lava Red color shade is achieved through an accurate combination of temperature, consistency and baking time with less than 0.01% variation. Additionally, it uses two anodic oxidation processes, using double blasting and an AF coating to ensure the texture and feel. A completely redesigned wallpaper unique to this edition further enhances the user experience.”

The phone has no change in specifications. It comes with 6.01-inch Full HD+ Optic AMOLED Display with an 18:9 aspect ratio, Snapdragon 835, 8GB RAM, dual camera (16 MP+20 MP) setup at the rear and 16 MP front camera. It runs on Android 7.1.1 (Nougat) with Oxygen OS and Oreo update is also on the way. It packs 3300 mAh battery with support to dash charge.
