Instagram has added new GIF stickers option to Instagram Stories and these stickers are powered by GIPHY. So, you can explore the extensive collection of new GIF stickers and add to your photos or videos in Stories.

For adding a GIPHY GIF sticker, Tap GIF to see trending stickers. You can also enter few words to search. Tap on the sticker you want to add to your story. You can also pin Stockers to a fixed spot in your video.
If you love using GIFs, you can start adding by using the newly added option.
Instagram has also confirmed that it will soon allow users to add photos or videos of any size to story. So, users will not have to cut a part of photo or video. Any extra room will be filled with a custom color gradient.

GIF stickers are now available for iOS and Android users. You can update your Instagram app to start using this feature.
Both the options Instagram announced today are interesting. The second option is one I have been waiting for long. While uploading a group photo to Story, it forces to cut few friends out to adjust the size. Ability to upload original size will surely help while posting a group photo.
