Qualcomm announced its flagship phone chipset Snapdragon 845 earlier this month. It has already prepared to announced three more SoC platforms for 2018, but specs leaked before the company could make an official announcement.
A post on Weibo leaked the key specs of upcoming Snapdragon 670, Snapdragon 640 and Snapdragon 460. You can already guess that these are the successors of Snapdragon 660, Snapdragon 630 and Snapdragon 450 chipsets.
The leak confirms octa-core processor in Snapdragon 670 where 4 cores are clocked at 2 GHz and other 4 cores at 1.6 GHz. The GPU will be Adreno 620 and it will support single camera of up to 26 megapixels and dual setup of 13 megapixels + 13 megapixels.
The Snapdragon 640 will have a 2 powerful Kryo 360 cores at 2.15 GHz and six more at 1.55 GHz. It will come with Adreno 610 GPU. The ISP will be same as in Snapdragon 670.
Snapdragon 640 is for budget devices. It will have eight Kryo 360 cores where four are clocked at 1.8 GHz and four are at 1.4 GHz. It will support up to 21 megapixels camera sensor. This chipset will be built on the 14 nm process technology.
We can expect the official announcement of these chipsets next month.
