Indian Government has made it mandatory to use FASTag on every new vehicle sold from 1st December. So, Paytm has also come forward and rolled out Paytm FASTag across India. For this new project, Paytm has partnered with National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) and NPCI.
The Paytm FASTag is a reusable tag based on RFID. It can be placed on the vehicle’s windscreen. This tag enables automatic toll fee collection electronically on highways across the country.
With Paytm FASTag on your vehicle, you can pass through 380 toll plazas without having to stop. Paytm FASTag is liked to a registered Paytm account for instant payment of toll charges.
Paytm is also working with several car manufacturers to offer Paytm FASTag with new purchase across the country.
If you already own a vehicle, you can buy FASTag online on Paytm app or Paytm website. This tag costs Rs. 200 and the color of the tag depends on the Vehicle class. So, buy the suitable one.
