Micromax has launched its new budget phone Micromax Bharat 5 in India. This phone is priced at Rs. 5555. The phone will soon be available from all offline retail stores across the country.
Micromax has also partnered with Vodafone to offer buyers additional mobile data. Micromax Bharat 5 consumers using Vodafone will get 50 GB of free data. For availing this offer, Micromax Bharat 5 buyers will have to buy 1GB Data pack from Vodafone and they will get additional 10 GB Data every month for a total of 5 months.
Micromax Bharat 5 comes with 5.2 inch HD IPS display and runs on Android Nougat. It is powered by 1.3 GHz Quadcore Processor with 1 GB DDR3 RAM. It has 16 GB storage with an option to expand storage up to 64GB.
It features a 5-megapixels rear camera and 5 megapixels front camera. Both cameras have support of LED Flash. So, you can even capture selfies in low-light.
It supports 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS and micro USB connectivity. The phone packs 5000 mAh battery with claims of 2 days battery life.
The phone will directly compete with Redmi 5A launched yesterday for just Rs. 4999. Even if Bharat 5 has Full HD as opposed to HD in Redmi 5A, the Redmi 5A has a better processor and 2 GB RAM. It also has a better camera. Bharat 5’s 5000 mAh battery is the USP to attract consumers.
