HP has announced its answer to Microsoft’s Surface Pro. The company has unveiled HP ENVY x2, a Snapdragon 835 based Windows detachable laptop at Snapdragon Summit. The most notable thing about this laptop is its incredible up to 20 hours of battery life.

HP ENVY x2 comes with 12.3-inch WUXGA+ touchscreen protected with Corning Gorilla Glass 4. It is made of CNC machined aluminum and is .9 mm thick There is also an integrated stand that can be adjusted from 110- to 150-degrees.

It will run Windows 10 on Snapdragon 835 chipset and promises always-on 4G LTE connectivity with the X16 LTE modem. It runs on Windows 10 S. It has 8GB LPDDR4X RAM and up to 256 GB of flash storage.

The laptop also has a front-facing camera for video calls and a second camera on the back of the tablet. It also packs Bang & Olufsen branded and tuned speakers for good sound experience,

HP has also included a pen slot on the detachable keyboard. So, the PEN should not get lost in your bag.

HP didn’t confirm the price of HP ENVY x2 but confirmed the availability in Spring 2018, with. The company will announce final specifications, price, and mobile carrier support at the time of official launch.
