Today, Razor announced long-awaited Razer phone at an event in London. The phone is powerful and suitable for gaming. The phone aims to offer you everything you need from a phone including gaming, videos, music, web browsing, and camera.
Razer Phone comes with Nextbit DNA, the smartphone makers acquired by Razer last year.
Razer Phone comes with 5.72-inch Quad HD 120 Hz UltraMotion Display. The display has fastest refresh rate and offers smooth graphics. UltraMotion’s adaptive refresh rate synchronizes with GPU to remove lag with efficient power usage.
The phone comes with Snapdragon 835 processor with Adreno 540 GPU, along with 8GB of LPDRR4 RAM, and 64GB of storage. It runs on Android 7.1.1 (Nougat) out of the box and is upgradable to Android Oreo.
Razer Phone has dual camera setup with 12 MP f/1.75 Wide angle lens and 12 MP f/2.6 telephoto lens. Both cameras boast PDAF. It also has 8 megapixels front camera.
The phone packs 4000 mAh battery with support to Quick Charge4+ and 24watt charger lets you charge this phone quickly. It has stereo front speakers with Dolby Atmos. It lacks audio jack but offers a THX-certified USB-C audio adapter with a 24-bit DAC.
It offers 4G, 802.11a/b/g/n/AC, Bluetooth 4.2, USB Type-C and NFC. It also has a fingerprint scanner hidden in the power button on the side.
Today, the company launched this phone in UK and Europe. The company will also offer the phone in North America, Canada, the UK via Razerzone.com. It will also be available via select Microsoft’s store and Amazon.com.
Pre-orders for the Razer Phone are available now for $699.99 in North America and Canada, €749.99 in European countries and £699.99 in the UK.
The company will also be offering 1,337 units of Razer Phone Special Edition with Razer’s iconic green triple-headed snake logo compared to chrome triple-headed snake logo.
