iPhone X Beats Pixel 2 in Photo Quality DxO Mark Score; loses overall

Even if Pixel 2 is at the top of Dxo Mark’s camera mobile camera list, iPhone X has managed to beat it in Photo Quality score with 101. The Pixel 2 has Photo Quality Score of 99.

The iPhone X got good Exposure, Color, Texture, Noise, and Artifacts to offer amazing photo quality. It offers good detail, accurate color rendering and natural-looking bokeh effect in Portrait mode.

Phone X DxoMark

Even if Pixel loses overall in photo score, it is still ahead in autofocus, exposure, contrast, and color subscores. The iPhone X managed to score well with better noise, zoom, and bokeh scores.

It is interesting to note that iPhone X also beats iPhone 8 having the same primary camera. It is because the iPhone X has better telephoto lens.

For video, iPhone X couldn’t do well and achieved video score of 89 points. Pixel 2 does well in this with the score of 96.

In overall scores, it achieved 97 points to be at the second place along with Huawei Mate 10 in DxOMark Mobile overall rankings. Pixel 2 is at the top of the list with 98 points.
