Oppo has launched a new smartphone Oppo A79 in China. This phone looks similar to Oppo R11s in design but comes with less powerful hardware.
Oppo A79 comes with 6-inch OLED display with 18:9 aspect ratio and 2180 x 1080 pixels resolution. It comes with trimmed top and bezels to offer better screen-to-body ratio.

The phone is powered by .5GHz octa-core MediaTek Helio P23 processor with 4 GB RAM. It also has 64 GB internal storage with an option to expand it as well. It runs on Android 7.1.1 with Color OS 3.2 at the top.
Oppo A79 comes with 16 megapixels rear camera with F/1.8 aperture and 16 megapixels front camera with F/2.0 aperture.
The connectivity features of the phone include 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth, WiFi, and GPS. It also has a fingerprint sensor located on the rear panel. It packs a 3000 mAh battery with support to VOOC for fast charging.
It will be available in China in Champagne and Black color versions. It is priced at CNY2,399 and will go on sale on December 1.
