India’s largest e-commerce platform Flipkart has today launched its first ‘Made for India’ smartphone Billion Capture+ in the Indian market. The phone will go on sale starting November 15. From the name, it looks to be a camera phone. Well, it packs a dual camera as well.

The phone claims to address the unique needs of Indian consumers. The phone claims to be designed, manufactured and tested in India.

Billion Capture+

Billion Capture+ comes with 5.5-inch Full HD display with 2.5D Dragontrail glass. It runs on Android 7.1.2 and promises guaranteed upgrade to Android Oreo. It is powered by octa-core Snapdragon 625 processor. It will be available in 3GB RAM with 32 GB storage and 4GB RAM with 64 GB of storage options. The storage is also expandable up to 128GB.

Billion Capture+ comes with a dual rear camera having 13MP (RGB) + 13MP (Monochrome) sensors along with dual flash. It also comes with 8 MP front camera. The camera comes with Portrait Mode, Depth of Field, and super night mode to give you good photography experience.

Connectivity features of the phone include 4G VoLTE, WiFi, Bluetooth and USB Type C. The phone packs 3500 may battery with support to QuickCharge.

The 3 GB / 32 GB model is priced at Rs. 10999 and 4GB / 64 GB model costs Rs. 12999.

At this price, the phone will be directly competing with Redmi Note 4 which is the best selling phone at this price. Billion Capture+ has a similar configuration but with dual camera setup as an advantage.

As the brand is new, Flipkart has also partnered with F1 Info Solutions for offering after sales service from its 158 centers in 135 cities
