The year 2017 is very good for Xiaomi in India. After achieving several milestones already, the company just confirmed to sell over 4 million smartphones within a month. It counted the month from September 20 to October.

Not just this, Xiaomi was also the number 1 mobile phone brand on Flipkart Big Billion Day and Amazon Great Indian Festival sales. Xiaomi also sold over 1 million smartphones from its own e-commerce website mi.com.

Xiaomi Redmi 4 and Redmi Note 4 are two most popular Xiaomi phones in India. To boost its reach in the offline segment of the country, the company has also partnered with Big Bazaar to sell its popular phones across the country.

Back in August, the company claimed to sell over 5 million Redmi Note 4. It also announced to sell over 1 million Redmi 4 in June this year. The company is ruling online sales segment and it has already achieved a considerable market share in the offline segment. We still have 2 months to go in 2017 and can expect another big milestone for Redmi Note 4.

This year, Xiaomi was also very active in the country. It recently launched Mi Mix 2 and Mi A1. It will also launch another smartphone on November 2.
