Sony has just launched two new mid-range Xperia smartphones in India. These phones are Xperia R1 and Xperia R1 Plus for Rs. 12990 and Rs. 14990 respectively.

Both phones are almost similar with the only difference in RAM and storage.

Sony Xperia R1 and Xperia R1 Plus come with 5.2-inch HD 2.5 curved glass display. These phones will run on Android 7.1 Nougat out of the box but Android Oreo update will follow soon.

Sony Xperia X1

These new phones are powered by octa-core Snapdragon 430 with Adreno 505 GPU. The Xperia R1 comes with 2GB RAM and 16 GB storage while the Xperia R1 Plus comes with 3GB RAM and 32GB storage. Internal storage is also expandable up to 128GB in both models.

These phones offer 13 megapixels rear camera with LED flash, Exmor Sensor, and Predictive Hybrid Focus. There is also an 8 megapixels front camera with the same Predictive Hybrid Autofocus.

Connectivity options including 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS + GLONASS and USB Type-C. These phones also pack a 2620mAh built-in battery.

Both phones will be available across the country starting from November 10th. You can Black and Silver color options to choose.
