Oppo just announced its latest selfie-focused smartphone Oppo F5 at an event in the Philippines. The phone claims to offer good selfie shots with bokeh effect.
P comes with 6-inch 18:9 FHD+ display with 2.5D curved Gorilla Glass 5. It is powered by a 2.5GHz octa-core MediaTek Helio P20 processor with ARM Mali G71 MP2 GPU.
The phone comes in 4GB RAM with 32 GB storage and 6 GB RAM with 64 GB storage options. You can also expand storage up to 256GB. It runs on Android 7.1 Nougat with color OS 3.2.
The phone has 16 megapixels rear camera with LED flash and f/1.8 aperture. At the front, it has 20 megapixels front camera with f/2.0 aperture. It uses AI beauty recognition technology that scans 200 facial spots to beautify a selfie.
The phone has face unlock the option to quickly unlock the phone. It also has a fingerprint scanner. It comes with 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2 and GPS connectivity options. It packs 3200 mAh battery.
The phone comes in Gold, Black, and Red color options. It measures 156.5x76x7.5 mm and weighs 152 grams.
It is priced at 15990 Philippine Peso for 4GB RAM with 32 GB storage model. It will be available for pre-order starting today until November 3. It will go on sale starting November 4.
