Huawei has launched its next flagship phone Huawei Honor 9i in India at an event in Goa. This phone is priced at Rs. 17999 and will be available exclusively on Flipkart starting 14th October.

The phone is actually Huawei Nova 2i launched in China 2 days back. It has exact same design and same specifications.

The Honor 9i features a metal unibody design. It has 5.9-inch full HD+ (2160 x 1080 pixels) 2.5D curved glass display with an 18:9 aspect ratio. The phone runs on Android 7.0 Nougat with EMUI 5.1 at the top of it.

It is powered by 2.36 GHz Octa-core Kirin 659 processor coupled with 4GB RAM. It comes with 64GB of storage with the option to expand storage up to 256GB.

The phone has 4 cameras including a dual camera setup at the front and dual camera setup at the back. At the back, it has 16 MP+ 2 MP rear camera with LED flash. At the front, it has 13 MP+2MP camera setup with soft LED flash. It lets uses readjust the focus after the photo has been shot and also allows to select different Bokeh effects.

The phone offers 4G LTE with VoLTE, WiFi (802.11 b/g/n), Bluetooth 4.2, GPS/A-GPS and NFC connectivity options. It packs 3340 mAh battery. The company claims that the phone can deliver up to two days of usage.

The phone also has a fingerprint sensor on the back. The dimensions measure 156.2 × 75.2 × 7.5mm and it weighs around 164 grams.

It is not the only phone with 2 dual camera setups but the phone is surely one of the best in this price segment. A few days back, Infocus also launched Infocus Snap 4 but that failed to offer good camera performance due to lack of good software processing.

At this price, this phone will be competing with Mi A1, Moto G5S and Cool Play 6.
