Xiaomi has launched its new Mi Note 3 smartphone at an event in China along with Mi Notebook Pro and Mi Mix 2. The company also calls it Mi 6 with a larger display.

The phone has 4 sided curved glass body with aluminum frame. It features a 5.5-inch 1080p IPS LCD display protected with Gorilla Glass.

It is powered by octa-core Snapdragon 660 processor. It has 6GB RAM and will be available in 64 GB, 128 and 256 GB storage models. It runs on Android 7.1.1 with MIUI 9.

It has 12 megapixels dual camera setup with 12 megapixels wide-angles lens with a 12 megapixels telephoto lens. it also offers 2x optical zoom and up to 10x digital zoom. This camera also has portrait mode that allows you to take images with depth of field effects. It also has 4-axis OIS. It has 16 megapixels front camera with Adaptable AI beautify.

It has a fingerprint scanner on the physical home button below the rear camera. It also supports face unlocking with its AI based facial recognition.

Connectivity features of the phone are 4G VoLTE, Wifi, Bluetooth, USB Type-C and NFC.  It packs 3500 mAh battery with support to Quick Charge 4.0.

Price of Mi Note 3 starts at RMB 2499 for 6GB RAM and 64GB storage variant. The 6GB RAM, 128 Storage black variant is priced at RMB 2899 and blue color variant of same phone is priced at RMB 2999.
