Xiaomi has finally announced its Mi Mix 2 at an event in China. This successor of Mi Mix comes with very thin bezels to give you a glimpse of future phones.
Xiaomi Mi Mix 2 has 5.99-inch 18:9 Full-screen display. The front panel is full display with almost no bezel on three sides and thin bezel below the display. The front camera has been placed below the display. It has 7-series aluminum alloy frame with four sided curved ceramic body.
It uses cantilever piezoeletric ceramic acoustic technology. In this sound resonates through metal frame and is delivered through the screen. Above the display, it has a tiny sound hole. It has 50mW high power speaker.
The phone comes with Octa-core Snapdragon 835 with Adreno 540 GPU and 6GB of RAM. It will be available in 64GB, 128GB, and 256 GB storage models.
It has the same primary camera that was in Mi 6. It features 12 megapixels Sony IMX386 sensor, 1.25μm large pixels, 4-axis OIS and dual color LED flash. The camera also has fingerprint sensor has a gold coated rim. It also has 5 megapixels front camera with Beautify mode and 1080p video recording.
It runs on Android Nougat out-of-the-box with Xiaomi’s MIUI 9 custom skin atop It also has a fingerprint scanner on the back panel below rear camera module.
It comes with 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0 and GPS like connectivity options. It packs 3,400mAh battery with support to Quick Charge 3.0.
It is priced at RMB 3299 for 64 GB variant, RMB 3599 for 128 GB variant and RMB 3999 for 265 GB variant.
There is also a special edition of Mi Mix 2 with 8 GB RAM. It has Ceramic unibody design. It will be available in black and white colors.
