Snapdragon 835 is Qualcomm’s best chipset for mobile devices. But the company is looking forward to using this in laptops. At IFA, Qualcomm has confirmed that Windows 10 PCs with Snapdragon 835 will be launched by the end of this year.

“Stay tuned to learn more about how Windows PCs powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 Mobile PC Platform are delivering breakthrough user experiences,” Qualcomm said at the event.

The PC is expected to be thin and light. I expect it to be a 2-in-1 device. It will have longer battery life and LTE connectivity. It is expected to be launched in the fourth quarter of this year.

HP, Asus, and Lenovo are expected to use this chipset and launch affordable Windows 10 laptops.

Last year, Microsoft announced that Windows 10 will also support ARM ecosystem soon. Now we have a confirmed news from Qualcomm. The demand for PCs is already going down. So, Microsoft and Qualcomm must consider what people are actually looking for.
