Instagram Stories are not coming to the mobile web. Starting today, you can watch stories on Instagram.com.

If you visit Instagram.com on your mobile or desktop, you will see stories at the top of your Instagram feed. You can click on it to watch. Clicking/tapping left or right arrows will skip the stories.

Instagram has also confirmed that ability to add stories via the mobile web will also be launched in coming months.

Even if it has a presence on mobile via apps for different mobile platforms, Instagram is now focusing on mobile web to add those users who do not want to install an app due to low storage devices.

Instagram copied Stories feature from Snapchat but it managed to compete with Snapchat really well. It confirmed that over 250 million daily active people use stories. It also claims that people under the age of 25 spend more than 32 minutes a day on its platform.

If you do not see stories the on mobile web, wait. You will receive this soon.
