SHARP announced its latest smartphone SHARP AQUOS S2 in China. This phone features a bezel-less display with 84.95% screen-to-body ratio.
SHARP AQUOS S2 comes with 5.5-inch Full HD+ Display with FFD (Free Form Display) technology. This tech uses small holes precisely in the screen for front camera and receiver. Below the display, it has 3.6 mm space to house a fingerprint scanner. It is world’s narrowest fingerprint module.
The phone comes with Octa Core Snapdragon 630 Soc with Adreno 508 GPU or Octa Core Snapdragon 660 14nm Mobile Platform with Adreno 512 GPU. It will be available in 4GB LPDDR4x RAM with 64GB internal storage or 6GB LPDDR4x RAM with 128GB storage. The storage is expandable up to 128GB.

It sports a 12 megapixels camera with f/1.75 aperture, dual-tone LED flash, PDAF and secondary 8 megapixels camera. It also has 8 megapixels front camera with f/2.0 aperture.
It comes with 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz + 5GHz), Bluetooth 4.2, GPS + GLONASS and USB Type-C connectivity options. It has 3000 mAh battery with support to Quick Charge 3.0.
The dimensions of this phone measure 141.8 x 72.04 x 7.9mm and weight 140g. It comes in Black, White, Blue and Green colors.
SHARP AQUOS S2 is priced at 2499 yuan for the Snapdragon 630, 4GB RAM and 64GB storage version. The top end with Limited edition with Snapdragon 660, 6GB RAM, 128GB storage is priced at 3499 Yuan.
