At IFA 2017, Samsung announced its new smartwatch Samsung Gear Fit2 Pro. It will be available starting from September 15th. It is priced at $199.

Samsung Gear Fit2 Pro comes with 1.5-inch Curved Super AMOLED display with 310 PPI and Gorilla Glass 3 protection. It is powered by 1GHz dual-core processor with 512 MB RAM. It comes with 4GB internal storage.

It runs on Tizen OS. This watch is compatible with Android phones running Android 4.4 or higher and iOS devices running iOS 9.0 or higher. This smartwatch has dedicated music player. It also has Spotify with support for Offline mode. You can also save up to 500 songs for offline listening.

It is 5 ATM certified for water resistance in up to 50-meters of water. It is also MIL-STD-810G certified for durability to handle wide-range of environments. It will be will be available in Small and Large sizes.

It also has Speedo’s swimming training app Speedo to track your swim metrics including lap count, lap time, stroke type and more. It has Accelerometer, Gyro, HRM, Built-in GPS and Barometer sensors.

It has Bluetooth v4.2, Wi-Fi b/g/n, GPS/GLONASS/Beidou connectivity options. With built-in GPS, you can now see routes while bike riding without a phone.

Samsung Gear Fit2 Pro packs 200 mAh battery with up to 5 days battery life with occasional use over 3 days with average use.
