Panasonic has launched two new smartphones in its ‘A Series’ in India. The company has added Panasonic Eluga A3 and A3 Pro smartphones. Both phones come in Mocha Gold, Gold and Grey colors. Panasonic Eluga A3 is priced at Rs. 11290 and A3 Pro is priced at Rs. 12790.

Panasonic Eluga A3 and A3 Pro feature 5.2-inch HD IPS display with Asahi Dragon Trail Glass protection. Panasonic Eluga A3 comes with 1.25 GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6737 64-bit processor with Mali-T720 GPU and the Eluga A3 Pro has 1.3GHz Octa-Core MediaTek MT6753 Processor with Mali T-720 GPU.

Both phones have 3GB RAM but differ in storage. The Eluga A3 has 16GB of storage and A3 Pro has 32GB storage. Storage is also expandable up to 128GB.

Both phones have same 13 megapixels rear camera with PDAF and LED flash. At the front, these phones get 8 megapixels camera. Connectivity features include 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS. The 4000mAh battery is also there to power it longer.

As you have seen, the phones differ in just processor specifications. All other things are same. But I see no point of launching two different devices. They could just launch a single phone. This kind of multiple phone strategy only confuses customers.
