HMD Global just announced its flagship phone Nokia 8 in London. This phone comes with high-end specifications. Zeiss lenses on both the front and back cameras make this phone notable.
Nokia 8 comes with 5.3-inch Quad HD LCD display with sculpted Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. It has Octa-Core Snapdragon 835 Mobile Platform with Adreno 540 GPU. There will be two RAM/ Storage models. These models including 4GB DDR4X RAM with 64GB storage and 6GB DDR4X RAM with 128GB storage. Internal storage is also expandable up to 256GB.
Nokia 8 comes with 13 megapixels dual camera setup that includes 13 MP primary camera sensor and 13 MP mono sensor with ZEISS optics. The camera also features 1.12um pixel size, f/2.0 aperture, PDAF, IR range finder and dual tone flash. At the front, the phone has 13 megapixels front camera with ZEISS optics, PDAF, 1.12um pixel size and f/2.0 aperture. The camera also has “bothie” mode that allows both the front and rear cameras to capture photos or videos at the same time.
It also has Fingerprint sensor and Barometer. It has 3 microphones system and Nokia OZO 360° spatial surround sound.
The phone offers 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac (MIMO), Bluetooth 5.0, GPS/ GLONASS, USB Type-C 3.1 Gen 1 and NFC connectivity. It packs 3090 mAh battery with support to Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0.
The phone comes in Polished Blue, Tempered Blue, Steel and Polished Copper colors. It is priced at 599 Euros and will start shipping in early September.
