Today Motorola launched its first dual camera phone Moto G5S Plus in India. Not just this phone, the company also launched Moto G5S and announced the price cut for Moto G5 Plus. The Moto G5 Plus 4GB RAM variant was launched in India for Rs. 16999 but saw the price cut to Rs. 15999 in few weeks after the launch. Today, the company has given it a new price cut and the phone is now available for Rs. 14999.

This price cut was needed because Moto G5S Plus has been launched for Rs. 15999. Without the price cut, Moto G5 Plus and Moto G5S Plus could have the same price.

Moto G5 Plus was initially exclusive to Flipkart but later it was launched on Amazon as well. Motorola has also played a smart game and it brings the 3GB RAM variant of Moto G5 Plus hardly in the stock. It is just to push users to go for the higher variant.

Motorola faced much criticism for this. So, Moto G5S and Moto G5S Plus are coming only in a single variant to avoid any confusion for buyers.

Moto G5 Plus has 5.2-inch Full HD IPS LCD Display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. It has 2GHz Snapdragon 625 octa-core SoC coupled with 4GB of RAM. The phone has 12-megapixel rear camera with dual autofocus pixels, 4K video recording, a f/1.7 aperture, and dual-LED flash. It also has 5 megapixels selfie camera with f/2.2 aperture and a wide-angle lens. The phone also packs 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS/ A-GPS, NFC and micro USB. It has 3000 mAh battery with support for TurboPower charging.

Even if the Moto G5 Plus is now cheaper, I recommend going with Moto G5S Plus. That phone not just have a dual camera but the camera app has lots of interesting features.
