Micromax has launched its new smartphone Micromax Canvas Infinity in its Canvas series of smartphones. This phone comes for Rs. 9999 and will be available from Amazon.in starting September 1. Registrations of the phone have already begun.

Micromax Canvas Infinity offers a 5.7-inch HD+ 2.5D curved glass display with 18:9 aspect ratio. The display resolution is 1440 x 720 pixels. It is powered by 1.4GHz Quad-Core Snapdragon 425 processor with Adreno 308 GPU and 3GB RAM.

The phone has 32GB of storage with the option to expand storage up to 128GB. It has Android 7.1.2 Nougat and the company claims that it is also upgradable to Android 8.0 Oreo.

It comes with 13 megapixels rear camera with LED Flash, f/2.0 aperture, 5P lens, 1.12um pixel size, 81.5-degree FOV and 1080p video recording. On the front, it has 16 megapixels camera with LED flash, f/2.0 aperture, 81.5-degree FOV, 5P lens and 1080p video recording.

The phone also has Super Pixel which clicks multiple pictures at the same time and combines them to give you higher resolution photos. The gallery app of the phone claims to use the image and facial recognition technologies to allow users to search for photos by person.

Canvas Infinity also has 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS and USB OTG connectivity. It also has a fingerprint sensor located on the back panel. It is packed with 2900 mAh battery that claims to offer 260 hours of stand by time, 11 hours of talk time and 24 hours of music playback.
