Samsung Galaxy Note 8 is official and LG V30 is coming next week. Now only Pixel 2 is the only Android phone we are waiting for. This phone will be Google’s latest high-end phone to compete in the premium segment.

According to the popular and highly-accurate leaker, Evan Blass, Google will be unveiling both the Pixel 2 and Pixel XL 2 on October 5. He also confirmed that the phone will come with Snapdragon 836 CPU.

This year, Google will try to make a perfect Android device to compete with Galaxy S8, Note 8 and iPhone 8. Last year, Pixel create buzz for being a good camera phone but it couldn’t attract enough consumers. Samsung and Apple are two primary destinations for people looking for high-end phones.

As per previous reports, 5-inch Pixel 2 is being manufactured by HTC, while the 6-inch Pixel XL 2 is being made by LG. Both phones could be the first phones to run on Android 8.0, if LG V30 fails to get Oreo out of the box.
