A few days back, Google made Android 8.0 Oreo official. Now Verizon started rolling out the final build of Android Oreo to Pixel and Pixel XL units sold via Verizon.

This update also includes August 5th security patch level. This rollout will also start appearing on more unlocked or Fi Pixels that were not enrolled in the Android Beta Program.

Few more carriers across the globe have started pushing Oreo updated to supported Pixel and Nexus devices including Pixel and Pixel XL, Pixel C, Nexus 6P, Nexus 5X, and Nexus Player.

The company has also posted the usual factor images and OTA zip files to download. If you are interested to try before receiving the update via Over-the-air, you can use the links given below to update manually.

Android devices are always slow in receiving updates and the biggest issue from carriers side. It is good to see that Verizon is not forcing users to wait and offering updates within a week.
