Acer has announced its next generation Chromebook 15 with better build quality and specifications. Now it has an aluminum top cover and palm rest. It weighs 1.72 Kg.
This new Chromebook laptop has the fanless design. It also features a backlit keyboard. Acer Chromebook 15 sports a 15.6-inch Full HD (1920x1080p) display. It comes in both touch-screen and non-touch configurations.
It will be available with dual-core Intel Celeron and quad-core Pentium processors. You will have options of 4GB and 8GB RAM along with 32GB or 64GB flash storage
It has a front facing HD webcam with the wide 88-degree field of view and mic. There are two upward-facing speakers with high-definition audio. It has two USB 3.1 Type-C ports, two USB 3.0 ports, an HDMI port as well as an SD card slot. Acer claims to offer battery life at 12 hours.
Acer Chromebook 15 is priced starting at $399. It will be available in Europe and North American region in October.
