Xiaomi ‘riva’ with Android 7.1.2 spotted on Geekbench

A new Xiaomi phone has been spotted on benchmark listing of Geekbench. The phone’s model name is Xiaomi riva.

The listing also confirms quad-core 1.40GHz processor and 3GB RAM. The Soc could be Snapdragon 427 SoC or the Snapdragon 425. It also has Android 7.1.2.

Sadly, no other details about the smartphone were revealed. But I expect to see more rumors and leaked photos in coming days.

Riva seems to be the code name of the phone. This phone can join the existing Redmi or Note series. Along with this rumored phone, Xiaomi is expected to launch few phones including Mi Note 3, Mi Mix 2 and Redmi Pro 2 in coming months.
