Xiaomi India confirms Mi Max 2 India Launch scheduled on July 18

Xiaomi India has started sending press invites for next Mi smartphone launch in India. The event has been scheduled on July 18 and we are expecting Mi Max 2 launch.

The invite says “Big Is Back”. It confirms the Big phone is coming and the big phone is Mi Max 2.

Xiaomi Mi Max 2 comes with 6.44-inch 1080p 2.5D curved glass display with 0.7mm ultra narrow bezels. The phone has2GHz Octa-Core Snapdragon 625 14nm Mobile Platform with Adreno 506 GPU and 4G RAM. The phone runs on MIUI 8.

It has 12 megapixels rear camera with dual-tone LED flash, PDAFf/2.2 aperture, Sony IMX386 sensor and 1.25μm pixel size. It also offers 5 megapixels front camera with f/2.0 aperture.

The phone has fingerprint sense and Infrared sensor. It also has stereo speakers. The connectivity features of the phone are 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac (2.4 / 5GHz) MIMO, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS + GLONASS and USB Type-C.

The phone is packed with 5300 mAh battery with Quick Charge 3.0.

We are not sure about pricing of the phone in India, but we expect it to be around Rs. 16000. We will get all the confirmed details next Tuesday. Stay tuned for more details.
