Xiaomi has announced its new Mi AI Speaker. This speaker comes with voice assistant developed a Mi lab. The speaker has very good design and looks like a miniature version of Xiaomi’s air purifier.
It has a speaker and six microphones for 360-degree audio sensing. It has two audio drivers. Xiaomi claims “excellent audio quality.”
Xiaomi Mi AI speaker comes with a 2.25-inch speaker with a passive subwoofer and 6 microphones. The Speaker Sensitivity is 82dB and Frequency Response Range: 60Hz-15000Hz (-6dB). It is powered by 1.2GHz quad-core 64-bit Cortex A53 processor, 256MB RAM, and 256MB flash memory.
It comes with Dual-band WiFi, DLNA, Bluetooth 4.1 with A2DP connectivity options.
It can control music playback, smart devices like curtains, lights, air conditioning temperature, and more. The AI trainer app also lets you create your training and set questions and answers. It also has a developer platform to get more skills.
The MI AI Speaker will retail in China for ¥299. At this moment, we cannot say if they will bring this product to other markets.
