Moto has finally announced its much-awaited Moto Z2 Force smartphone at an event in New York City. The phone comes with a shatterproof display, slim aluminum build, and powerful hardware specifications.
Moto Z2 Force is priced at $799.99 in the US without a contract. If you buy it with contract, you will get it for $30 per month and free Moto Insta-Share Projector Moto Mod for purchases till September 9, 2017. The phone will be rolled out to other countries late this summer.
Moto Z2 Force comes with 6.1 mm slim body made of 7,000 series aluminum. It also has water repellent nano-coating. Dimensions measure 76 x 155.8 x 6.1 mm and weight is 143 grams.
Moto Z2 Force comes with 5.5-inch Quad HD AMOLED POLED ShatterShield, shatterproof display. The company even offers a warranty against shattering and cracking of display and embedded lens for 4 years.
The phone comes with 2.45GHz Octa-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 Soc with Adreno 540 GPU and 4GB RAM. It has 64GB storage with the option to expand storage up to 2TB.
It runs on Android 7.1.1 Nougat. The phone has dual rear camera setup with one 12 megapixels monochrome sensor and second 12 megapixels color sensor. The camera has dual-tone LED flash, Sony IMX386 sensors, ƒ/2.0 aperture, PDAF, Laser Auto Focus and 4k video recording. There is also a 5 megapixels front camera with dual-tone LED flash and f/2.2 aperture.
The phone comes with a fingerprint sensor, Front-ported loud speaker, and 3 Mics system.
The connectivity options of the phone include 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 ac (2.4 and 5 GHz) MIMO, Bluetooth 4.2 (5.0 enabled after Android O), GPS with GLONASS, NFC and USB Type-C. It will be available in single SIM or Dual SIM depending on the country. It packs a 2730mAh battery with Turbo Charging.
There is also a new 360-degree camera Mod coming out alongside the Z2 Force. It can Shoot, edit, and share 360° video, audio, and images direct from the phone. You can also instantly share or Livestream on different social networks.
