LG announces LG Q6+, Q6 and Q6α smartphones

LG has officially announced three new phones in Q series of smartphones. These phones are LG Q6+, LG Q6, and LG Q6α. All these phones come with 5.5-inch FHD+ FullVision display with 18:9 aspect ratio. This new series aims to offer premium features a competitive price.

These phones are almost same but differ in RAM/Storage specs. All other things are same.

LG Q6+

As I already mentioned, these phones come with 5.5-inch 18:9 FHD+ (2160 x 1080 pixels) FullVision Display with 442ppi pixel density. The company added Octa-Core Snapdragon 435 with Adreno 505 GPU.

LG Q6α comes with 2GB RAM and 16GB storage, LG Q6 offers 3GB RAM with 32GB storage and LG Q6+ comes with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage. Storage is also expandable up to 2TB with a microSD card.

The camera setup is also same. These phones have 13 megapixels rear camera and 5 megapixels front camera with wide-angle lens. The camera offers same camera features that were in LG G6.

The connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2 LE, GPS / GLONASS and NFC. These phones are packed with 3,000mAh battery.

The company is also offering multiple color options. Color options are:

  • Q6+: Astro Black / Ice Platinum / Marine Blue
  • Q6: Astro Black / Ice Platinum / Mystic White / Terra Gold
  • Q6α: Astro Black / Ice Platinum / Terra Gold
