Instagram has added an interesting way of replying to stories. Now you can respond to story with photos, videos, and Boomerangs.
Video or photo reply work in the same way as text reply. It will go to Direct inbox. To reply with a photo or video, tap the new camera button while watching a story. You can also use face filters, stickers and Rewind in the camera.
It will also have a sticker showing the original Story image. So, you know what part of the story they are replying to. If you take a screenshot or replayed a reply, your friends will know about it.

With this update, Instagram has made it interesting to reply to Stories and make the conversation more interesting. More than 200+ million Instagram users use stories. So, adding this new interesting way of conversation will encourage people to engage with Stories.
The update is now available for Android and iOS both. You can update the app to start using Stories.
