Finally Facebook allows you post GIFs in comments

GIFs turn 30. So, Facebook decided to give it birthday gift by allowing users to post GIFs as comments on the social network.

Yes, you can now leave a GIF comment on Facebook. Putting GIF in the comment is easy. Just write a comment in comment box and click on GIF button to select the GIF from popular sources.

Facebook was testing this feature for long time, but no one expected the official confirmation on 30th birthday of GIF.

Along with this announcement, Facebook has also introduced new and exclusive GIFs. You can access it here: GIPHY Studios.

Facebook also revealed some interesting facts about GIFs in Messenger. It confirmed that Messenger sent nearly 13 billion GIFs in the last year. It means 25000 GIFs every minute. New Year’s Day 2017 was the most popular day ever for GIFs on messenger when more than 400 million GIF were sent.
