The game features some of the popular features from past NFS games. If you watch the trailer of the game, it feels like watching the trailer of Fast and Furious.

The single player game revolves around former street racer Tyler Morgan and his crew getting payback on those who double-crossed and exiled him.

This time, players will drive and race as three separate characters united against The House. These are Tyler, Mac, or Jess (nicknamed “the Racer”, “the Showman” and “the Wheelman” respectively).

There is a wide range of cars to try in the game. The game offers both on- and off-road car driving with events across the city, mountains, canyons, and desert.

If you pre-order the game, you will receive the Platinum Car Pack, which includes five uniquely customized cars. These are

  • Nissan 350Z 2008
  • Chevrolet Camaro SS 1967
  • Dodge Charger R/T 1969
  • Ford F-150 Raptor 2016
  • Volkswagen Golf GTI Clubsport 2016

Need for Speed Payback will be playable on EA Access and Origin Access, with 10 hours of early access starting on November 2, 2017.
