Apple announces new iMac Pro with 5K display, up to 18-core processor

Today at WWDC, Apple announced a new line-up of its all-in-one desktop called the iMac Pro. The company claims that is it the “the most powerful Mac ever.” It will start shipping this December starting at $4999.

This new iMac Pro will come with an 8-core Xeon processor, a 10 core and an 18 core processor. It will also have 11 teraflops of single GPU compute power and it can deliver up to 22 teraflops of half-precision computation.

It has 5K display and you’ll be able to attach two 5K displays. It also has an all-new AMD Radeon Vega graphics GPU. It also has up to 4TB of 3gbps of SSD and support for up to 16GB of VRAM.

It will also have 4 Thunderbolt 3 ports, SDXC port 4 Lightning ports, 10GB ethernet. and a headphone jack.

This desktop can be used for everything you want to try including high-end editing, graphics work, gaming, and VR.
