Xiaomi has launched the success of Redmi 3S in India. The company has officially launched Xiaomi Redmi 4 in India starting at Rs. 6999. The phone comes in 3 storage variants similar to Redmi Note 4.

The 2GB RAM + 16GB storage variant comes for Rs. 6999, the 3GB RAM + 32GB Storage variant comes for Rs. 8999 and the 4GB RAM + 64GB variant comes for Rs. 10,999. Redmi 4 is exclusive to Amazon and will on sale starting May 23.

Bangalore people can also buy the phone directly from Mi Home starting May 20. The device will be available to pre-book from mi.com between 16th and 19th May by paying a small token advance of Rs. 1,000 and pick it up from Mi Home on 20th May.

Xiaomi Redmi 4 comes with 5-inch HD 2.5D curved glass display. The design of the phone has been improved and the company has added Matte Black variant.

It runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow out of the box. The phone comes with various interesting software features including dual apps, second space, app lock and more. MIUI ROM based on Android Nougat is already available in beta. Interested users can install it to try.

It is powered by octa-core 435 processor with Adreno 505 GPU. I have already talked about storage + RAM variants. The phone offers 13 megapixels rear camera with PDAF, and LED flash. It also has 5 megapixels front camera with beauty mode.
