Xiaomi launched Redmi 3S last year in August. This phone has now become the best-selling smartphone ever in the history of online segment. Xiaomi has sold over 4 million units of this phone through its online partners.

Xiaomi Redmi 3S and Redmi 3S Prime are still the preferable choices in sub-10k smartphones segment. The company confirmed 1 million sales of Redmi 3S back in November last month and crossed 3 million milestones in February.

When we are talking about Redmi 3S sales, we are counting both Redmi 3S and Redmi 3S Prime.

Both phones are similar and come with 5-inch HD display, Octa-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 SoC, Android 6.0 Marshmallow, 5 megapixels front camera and 13 megapixels rear camera,

Redmi 3S has 2GB RAM and 16GB storage but Redmi 3S Prime has 3GB RAM and 32GB storage. The Redmi 3S Prime has a fingerprint sensor. Both phones have 4100 mAh battery to offer longer battery life.

Redmi 3S and Redmi 3S Prime are good in performance and offer decent camera experience. The demand of these two phones is still much higher than the supply. This is the reason these phones become out of stock in few minutes after coming back to stock on the weekly sale.

Xiaomi has also written a success story with Redmi Note 3 and we are expecting another milestone from Redmi Note 4 in coming months.
