Today along with Redmi 4, Xiaomi India has also launched its new interesting device Xiaomi Mi Router 3C in the Indian market. This is a budget router but with interesting features.

Mi Router 3C is an 802.11 b/g/n single-band router. It has 4 copper antennas of which two are to transmit and two are to receive the signals. It claims to offer up to 300Mbps data transmission speed.

If I talk about technical things, it has MediaTek MT7628N processor, 64MB DDR2 RAM and 16MB ROM. It has MiWiFi OS (Based on OpenWRT). The router has 2 LAN ports, 1 RJ45 WAN port, and 1 Power port. There are also LED indicator lights.

The interesting thing is that the WiFi range is 80 meters and you can connect up to 64 devices at the same time.

It is easy to setup with a mobile app Mi Wi-Fi app. The app also allows you to manage connected devices, block websites, manage the bandwidth of connected devices, and parental control. You can use WiFi Boost to intelligently set Wi-Fi channel to optimize connections.

It also has guest sharing that allows you to create a guest network temporarily with sharing the password of your home network.

The Xiaomi Mi Router 3C comes in white color and the company has priced it aggressively to beat the competition. It is priced at just Rs. 1100. It will be available from mi.com starting May 23. It will also go on sale from Flipkart and Amazon.in from June 8.
