Xiaomi Mi Max 2 With 6.44-inch display, 5300 mAh battery announced
Xiaomi has unveiled the success of Mi Mix phablet in China. The company has just launched Xiaomi Mi Max 2 at an event in China.
Xiaomi Mi Max 2 comes with 6.44-inch Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) display. The company has trimmed down the bezels around the screen. It runs on Android 7.1 Nougat out the box with MIUI.
It will be available in two processor models with different RAM. The 4GB RAM variant of the Mi Max 2 comes with the 64-bit Snapdragon 626 octa-core processor clocked at 2.2GHz and Adreno 506 GPU. The 6GB RAM variant comes with Snapdragon 660 SoC and Adreno 512 GPU.
It will be available in 32GB, 64GB, and 128GB storage variants and there is no option to expand the storage. It also has stereo speakers for immersive movies, games and music experience.
Mi Max 2 comes with 12 megapixels Sony IMX386 sensor, PDAF and large 1.25μm pixel size. It also has 5 megapixels front camera and wide-angle lens.
It also has fingerprint sensor and IR blaster. The connectivity options are 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS and microUSB.
It is packed with large 5,300mAh battery that is rated to give up to 54 hours of talktime and up to 18 hours of video playback. The company claims that the phone will offer up to 2 days of usage. It also supports fast charging and it will get charged up to 68 percent in just one hour.
