Today, Samsung announced its budget phone Samsung Galaxy J3 (2017) in U.S. for AT&T. The phone comes in Silver color and is priced at $179.99 without contract. It is also available for $6/month for 30-month contract with AT&T.
Samsung Galaxy J3 (2017) comes with 5-inch HD IPS display. It has 1.4 GHz quad-core Exynos 7570 14nm processor with 1.5GB RAM and Mali-T720 GPU. Internal storage of the phone is 16GB with option to expand storage up to 128GB.
The phone comes with Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box. It has 5 megapixels rear camera with LED flash and f/1.9 aperture. At front, the phone has 2 megapixels camera with f/2.2 aperture.
The connectivity features of the phone include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS + GLONASS. This phone is also powered by 2600mAh battery that seems good enough for this configuration. The battery is rated to deliver up to 23 hours of talk time, and up to 17 days of standby time.
