Microsoft has officially introduced its new Surface Laptop running on Windows 10 S. It is a 13.5-inch laptop that targets students.
It has a 13.5-inch PixelSense edge-to-edge display with the ultra-thin bezel. The Gorilla Glass 3 protection is also there to protect the display from scratches. Microsoft also claims that the laptop uses the thinnest LCD touch model ever created and put into a laptop.

it has Alcantara fabric-covered keyboard with responsive keyset just like premium Surface Pro 4 keyboard. Microsoft has also placed speaker underneath the keyboard. It has Omnisonic speakers with Dolby Audio Premium and Stereo microphones.
It has Intel Core i5 and i7 processors with different RAM and storage configuration. You will get it in 4GB, 8GB, or 16GB RAM, 128GB, 256GB, or 512GB SSD models. The company also claims that the Surface Laptop is faster than the i7 MacBook Pro and even offers better battery life.
The company claims that the battery will last for 14.5 hours.
It also comes with an offer for a one-year subscription to Office 365 Personal and 1TB of free storage on OneDrive. The connectivity options are Wi-Fi 802.11ac Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0 LE, USB 3.0, Mini DisplayPort and Surface Connect
Microsoft has started taking preorders for the surface laptop priced starting at $999 for the Core i5 version with 4GB RAM and 128GB of SSD storage. The company will start shipping on June 15.
The Surface Laptop will be shipped in four colors: platinum, burgundy, cobalt blue, and graphite gold. The weight of the laptop is under three pounds (1.25KG). Dimensions measure 308.1 x 223.27 x 14.48 mm.
