Micromax has launched its new phone Micromax Canvas 2 2017 in Canvas series of smartphones. The original Micromax Canvas 2 was launched back in 2012. Original Micromax Canvas 2 was a very successful phone in terms of sale. This phone gave Micromax a recognition and helped it to boost its market value.The company used same name but improved specifications

Micromax Canvas 2 2017 has 5-inch display with 2.5D Glass display and Gorilla Glass 5 protection. It has Quad-core MediaTek MT6737 processor with Mali T720 MP1 GPU and 3GB RAM. It runs on Android 7.0 Nougat. The phone has 16GB internal storage with an option to expand storage up to 64GB.

It has 13 megapixels rear camera with LED flash. At the front, it has 5 megapixels camera. The phone also has fingerprint sensor on the front. It has polycarbonate back cover that is removable.

The connectivity features of the phone are 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS. It is packed with 3050mAh battery.

The phone is available from offline stores. It also offers 1GB 4G data per day and unlimited calling (400 minutes cap) to any network in India for one year with Airtel.
